If it were me, I'd just use MotoGP slick control tyres.
Alternatively, I might just use Sportsmarts.
Decisions,decisions.

mmmm....bloody tyres Eh

Took a punt on a pirelli diablo rosso 2 for the rsv :dunnomille today , £ 113 for a 190 55 rear couldn`t resist at that price . See how it goes ..

Pilot power 2 ct on it just now , although a very very good tyre the Sportsmart i had on before it was amazing in all weathers and gave more mileage and confidence than any tyre i`ve tried for some enthusiastic road riding .

The Rosso`s about £40 cheaper so will be interesting to see what likee?

The sportsmart is 5 star rubber in my book !!!

Am just a bit of a tight **** though :dunno

r1, careful on a cold wet road especially on cold tyres.

Suppose that's true of most rubber.

I've had 5k miles on the rear wae an angle wae no issues.

done about 2,500k so far on my Rosso 2's and they still look brand new. Bar the melted bits on the edges that is :wheelie

5 k for a rear can`t be bad Aldo

2500 k ? thats got to be kilometers ?? If it`s 2500 miles and sticky too then I`m onto something here with the Rosso`s :thumbup

Those are the very ones mucker. I'm well pleased with the life the rear has given me, bearing in mind that this years riding was a lot of Motor way, duel carriage way and fast sweeping A class roads.

And loads of my favourite gnarly twisties.

All without an issues.
