Have you got some?? if so use em for the road.. :thumbup
if like me, you ride like a complete **** thems is a great idea to pop on ya wheels just before a ride out...
I started to use mine when i got a new set earlier in the year for track days.. thought i'd try em out to make sure they work!
Bloody hell wot a difference it makes on the road... having tyres up to temp an working right from the off..
Us poor Doods in the UK usually do breakfast runs and even in the Summer its cool in the morning sos having warm wheels is loverly.. i use them every time now, unless i go out with me Girlfriend.... cos the cheeky moo steals em and puts them on her Bike!

I don't have any. Not even for the track. The closest I've come to tyre wramers on the track is on two separate occasions on two different bikes my ex owned she let me do a session on them and my sessions were always after hers, so she handed them over with warm tyres and I didn't worry about a lap or two of a more moderate pace to get them up to a decent scratching temp.

On the street by the time I get to the nearest good riding roads, my tyres have already warmed up from the travel getting there anyway ;)

:stupid

although, i'm tired of getting blown by on the first few laps of the session by guys with warmers, only to have to get past them later once my tires are up to temp.

-:banana

to be honest i never used to bother with them either, but i had the same problem as you crashtd, guys with 'All the gear and no idea' would get out on the track and be quicker during the first 3 laps or so cos i had cold tyres.. then these blokes would suddenly turn into a bunch of old ladies on mobility scooters that had to navagated round...
Anyway for the price of them, £100, seemed a waste of track time not to go out on warm rubber.

the joys of Ebay, got one for £20, the damn thing is more or less brand new... sold the idea to me girlfriend by saying...'look at this way, next time there's a power cut ya can still have a cuppa'

Mogster - you're such smoothie. I'm sure you could sell ice to an Eskimo.
