Yep that's cheaper than I found and I was searching for a bargain!
Just got in from a ride to Royston from Leigh on Sea (Essex) and had a proper try of the M7RR'S
Firstly despite much Google reading about them some of people's comments I didn't completely agree with
My pace is what I think general bikers would class as fast road (without stroking ego's etc). I read that these don't need scrubbing in... Well I left this morning at 7.45am and it was 0-1 degrees Celsius so maybe I'm being harsh but they definitely needed a good 20 miles of wet cold riding to come into their own... But when they did and every ride after **WOW**
After 4 junctions from my road getting a lovely rear end slide and both legs out at 15 mph laughing in my head thinking I was about to lowside the rest was history
Absolutely no warm up time needed (I'm comparing to pirelli supercorsa and rosso corsa which is all I've used road only not track for 2 years). Grip that had to get me time to readjust my style and stop being conservative
If you ride track compare it to a set of decent road tyres then the first time you run a set of decent slicks straight off the warmers... It's that much of a difference
I couldn't stop grinning and as long as I was smooth mid corner with temperatures probably never better than 5 degrees at 10am I barely got any TC intervention and could feed the gas on in 2nd out of slip roads almost pinned, by the time I was in 3rd only slightly leant over I was wide open upto 4th and then shutting off as we know that's 71mph (Mr officer sir)
I read they prefer higher pressures in cold but can be dropped a few in summer. I tried 40 rear and 36 front, I then tried 36 rear and 33 front and it went squidgy feeling. I reckon that pressure anything above 8-10 degrees and slightly warmer dry days would be perfect but if it's real cold and wet go with the higher pressure
It's like cheating with them on and I only wish I knew about it sooner
