Tread goes right to the edge

corsa 3 on mine, just had to buy a new Rear as i got a nasty puncture. £110

Another vote for 2CT's here. 120/70 & 190/50. Cost around £220.00 fitted on a ride in/ride out basis. They feel 'normal' now but when I first changed to them the bike seemed to drop into corners so much easier. I put it down to the triangular profile.

Mine has renntechs' at the moment. good in the dry, would push them in the wet, as there is no shoulder tread. 1500miles of cold jan/feb/march has seen the best out of the rear centre. wont be long until a new one is required.

jesus lads didnt expect so many replies so fast

Ive currently got a Pirelli diablo corsa i think it is on the back 180.50.17 and on the front aPirelli corsa 3 120.70.17 and they do feel good but as its my first bike i cant really compare to anything else

I think im defo going to stick with Pirelli but whats the difference between all the ranges of corsa`s :confused

+1
although cant tell you much about them till I get the bike back with them fitted!

I can tell you that my rear has started to show a little sign of splitting along the moulding line :dunno

Thought that only happened on a dodgy batch of 2ct's but i will keep a eye on it because it does go all the way across the tyre.

as im after new tires soon rear is shagged lol, what the best rear to go with 190/50 or 190/55? with the 55 do you get better turn in as its a steeper profile :dunno , also been reading about the corsa 3's everybody seems to rave on about them, so come from the standard corsa that gave me loads of confidance corsa 3 seem like a good upgrade

supposedly so, but different tyre makers also have slightly differnt profiles also

msmiler you're starting to convince me on these tyres 2ct's are quite old technology now, i'm looking for something always being develpoed, now in BSB and WSBK they should lead the way, also metzeler as we know aer the same company, same compounds etc and everyone in the superstock cup raves about them

any good delas about on them

I would get that checked by a professional, its very difficult to keep your eye on something under your arse when your going forward at a fair rate of knots.
if it lets go it will not end pretty. don't risk it, it ain't worth it.

mine are starting to get squared off a bit now,due to ***** previous owner and being mostly restricted to "touring" a lot with my mrs on the back this year,as i wanted her to love the bike as much as me rather than resent it like my last wife.
its not tipping in smooth and nice as it should do so i think a nice set of corsa 3's are on the cards for me too.

Can't comment on tyres as you know I've still got the VFR so my opinions are kind of irrelevant, however, if you need them fitted I can recommend:

I had some Pirelli's fitted by him a while back & he took great care with the rims. He also spent ages making sure they were balanced properly. It's a tiny place, and a bit tricky to find, but he does take care of your stuff, which is important I'm sure, after you've spent ages getting the beast back to it's former glory.
