Alright lads its getting close to the time for some fresh hoops

Just wondering what you all have

Price

Cheers Guys

QUALIFIERS
120/70
190/55
not sure yet on them yet as i'm not as confident as before my big off in November, still had them to the edge no probs, but not pushed too hard yet......
been a racetec guy for so long now and they were awsome

qualifiers cost me 190 fitted

Hi Chris. 2ct's for me. 3000 miles and still going strong. I went for a 180 rear, as I didn't like the feel of the 190 rear that was on the bike when I got it. Drop in is far smoother feeling and a bit quicker now, although that might have more to do with the profile of the 2ct's compared to the Dunlops it was on to start with. Great tyres so far, no complaints.

I paid 205 fitted.

Pirelli corsa 3 mate stick like glue and wear well in the middle, cost about 170 depending where you shop. I would put my life in them mate, new set on that will be going around the angelsey tarck on the 25th:thumbup

Pirelli Supercorsa pro sc1/sc2
Just scrubbed in, 5mm tread, ebay £60 :thumbup

until they develop somet better????????

True, but i dont know how they could make them much stickier i've only had one scare on them and that was my own fault with a little to much power coming out of hawthorns at brands and even tho it went i still think if i had any other tyre on in its class it wouldn't of eventually gripped and i would of high sided the *****. rant over lol

would you say they are a good track tyre, but don't get hot enough quick enough fro road

thats why i left racetecs as i had a cold slide into a wall

you need somet sticky but works at lower temps and warms quicker imho

or do you use them for road as well and take it easy until warm

Michelin 2ct's for me as well, had them since they first came out paid £150 for the pair :biggrin but have heard good thing about the Pirelli's to.

Ive always run a 190 so cant comment but a lot of folk do say the 180 turns in quicker. might try one when my rears shot.

I would be weary of going for the super super sticky tyres just for road use as the do only work well when they have got heat in them and i have heard not to good in the wet ?

Thats what ive got for mine mate, Brand new fitted £120, think Sharky has just got some too, be careful in the damp and wet tho mate :thumbup

Pirelli Corsa 3 here also, tried Bridgestone 020 but made bike very unstable over white lines ridges in road etc.. Paid £110 for rear, but only lasting about 1600 miles, 3/4 worn already and only been on 6 weeks..Gulp.

when theyre ready though, itll be either corsa 3's or michelin 2ct's,whihever is the better price.

No road as well never had a problem or to be honest or even thought about tyres whilst on the road i give them 5-10 mins to warm up then i'm dropping knees and hanging off like a monkey for the rest of the ride, even when caught up in traffic, once past it next bend drop it in and has always stuck like nothing i've had before michelin, dunlop etc never got close, not that i've ever really tried (fair weather rider) but have heard from a lot of corsa 3 user that say that there just as good in the wet too, this is just my personal opinion of course tho:thumbup

does the tread go all the ay to the edge?
cos if tey don't; then don't make my mistake in the damp like i did, they WILL NOT STICK in the wet, the same!!!

plus pushing is for the dry!!

I just love the pirellis, I weigh a bloody ton and I have full confidence on the roundabouts. very sticky tyres. Not sure about them in the wet tho, bit of a water sol biker me.
