I'm hoping to take my Tuono to the drags the weekend after next at shakespear raceway in warickshire and i'm after some advice. I've been playing around with the launch control and noticed that even with it set to 1 it really castrates the engine in 1st gear, is it really worth bothering with? The bikes an animal in first so it will be hard to give it full beans either way. I'm expecting to get a sub 11 second time, that's reasonable right? Has anyone got any times to compare to?

I've seen 10.9s quoted for the standard Gen1, so would expect the V4 to be closer to 10.
Infact, this website quotes 10s exactly for a 2010 RSV4 & 10.3 for a V4 2012...

I have been there a few times and it's great fun,keep riding to to front of the que if there's cars there :yes practice is the key and getting your reaction time down makes for good times :thumbup
