Tuoldo Fuel Level Warning Light..

Morning,

The bulb either works or it doesn't surely? So perhaps its not getting much juice? Is it a connection issue?, do you have a loose wiring/connection.

I am no mechanic and haven't generally got a Danny, but my simple mind is struggling with the concept of a fading light, does your dash have a dimmer, or is the screen dirty?

Good luck and would love to know what the prob was once you've sorted it.

Fook me,we need a new forum catagory,...The Gilo/Bay/Stix roadshow.

Hi was wondering how easy it is to change the low fuel level warning light bulb and was looking for some feed back..
It comes on but is very dim and hard to see on a bright day.. 2005 Tuono..

Hmm,the Tuoldo does use bulbs in the dash,so it should be possible. How you get in there,I dont know.Mebbe nip to Halfrauds and have a sneaky peek in the RSV Mille manual for info?Probably its a remove clock console from the bike and attack from the back,...dunno,....guessing.
Standard bulb rating is 12v-3w.Mebbe swap it for a similar type but l.e.d might give you a brighter light.
Paul Goff does a whole range of replacement l.e.ds,...or there's ebay.

At last someone sensible..!!!
My sidestand light is very bright, Fuel level light is only really visible when its dark and you cant tell if it comes on in the day..
Must be a dodgy bulb or not pushed in properly. 1st Aprilia ive had not keen on taking it apart could cause more problems than it solves..

sound logic ak47 min, if it ain't completely fecked leave well alone. just keep an eye oan it after 80 miles or so you'll ken tae fill up aboot then
