Went out for the first real spin on the RSVR last night since I have made all the mods to it. Out on my own, listening to the engine and feeling the bike as opposed to riding with someone else and not really concentrating on your own riding.

Since I got the RSVR after my 99 Mille was written off, I've felt like I couldn't really get along with it as much as my previous one :dunno

However last night, I went out for a blast and realised that my RSVR is fast in the same way that a piano falling from a roof is fast, understated, and devastating :happy

Good news given that the annual Aprilia outing, this year to South of France, is coming up in a couple of weeks :thumbup

Route yet to be decided - you up for putting us up?

Either Route Napoleon and back up the middle, or to the Millau bridge and back up the middle?

2nd week in September

sure no worries take a look here - I thought it may have been a big meet that I could go and have a look.

Deacs, those Gites look great mate, I may be speaking to you later this year about my family holiday next year.

Sorry but my missus won't let me bring the spanners but no reason why we can't improvise and use copious amounts of red wine to pass the late summer nights. LOL

:thumbup thanks Alan. lol I know what you mean, nothing quite like 36 degrees c and tasty cheap red wine to while away the hours ;), still if you feel the need to pick up some spanners I'm sure I can find you a few ;) - the weather has been amazingly hot for quite a while now (Mid 30's (Celsius that is :) )- we're apparently going to have some rain on monday and tuesday and then sun again. The beauty is though when it rains its still warm :thumbup

deacs :thumbup
