Harsh, but in reality it seems fair

there does seem to be a dividing line between the two, but despite some not making it in MotoGp it seems that WSB is more exciting at the moment. Even Rossi said WSB is better to watch

You have got to be kidding, wsb a beginner class :D

Its just that in sbk most is still in the rider. In gp the bike and how its set up, is more important.

Bayliss had one race in GP when he was on top in sbk... Gues what, he won :)

This is true, but he did have a couple of season when he had similar results to Toseland, the win was the only one he ever had

Baylis had a few rides, remeber is big off at Philip island.

But yeh given the two, i would watch WSB every time.

2011 will be a great year , edwards will be in wsb and then u will see who is better between toseland and edwards ,my bingle is on toseland .

only way u make in the gp paddock if u go through the ranks 125 , 250 then big boys .

wsbk is more exciting to watch because they are real bikes we all can own not a million pound bike made for one reason .

Toseland is a great rider crashes pre season and not being spanish or italian dont help either .

Cant wait to haslam on gp bike that will be something worth watching .

:doug

dunno why we struggle to get a brit on a decent gp ride

haslam, mcguiness, shakey, hodgson, ellsison, are just a few that have been and gone in GP's so far.

bet they hate the fact that a couple of teenagers ( reading/smith ) are looking like future GP starts

it does seem like you have to bee either spanish or italian to get a good ride tho

I would to see bradley or reading in moto gp ,

Who will be the next brit to be in moto gp,cruchlow, laverty , haslam , sykes , toseland ,camier.?

As longs its not bryne soon as he opens his cake hole he gets my back up .!:puke

It always seems to me that only riders that have come up the gp ranks have a decent crack at the whip i.e 125-250-motogp. The gp bikes are that adjustable that wsb riders need time to adapt. Edwards has been in gp alot longer so the time in the sadle is what counts. I think toseland needed maybe two more seasons to be up there but its buisness and time is money. As for spies he is a great rider but imo he will need time as well and his first season will be hard work- I think he may grap a podium here and there but his second season is the one he will shine in.

strange how all the talk of who is going where yet no mention of Camier moving from BSB?

Crutchlow will almost cedrtainly go to Moto2, Sykes most likely back to BSB or another WSB team

Haslam will be WSB next year, Laverty is rumoured to get Crutchlows ride and Shakey is fighting for sponsors.

Gonna be an interesting few weeks

I can't see To52land on anything other than Yamaha, or Aprilia for next year in my opinion..in WSB.

But I guess time will tell.

Would be good to see him and Camier on the Yamaha's for 2010. To make an all BRIT team:thumbup

I think Camier has certainly got to be on one next year and what better team mate to have than JT. (ex Moto GP Rider and former WSB champion)

Camier would have it made for him...:pirate

I think yamaha have cleaned up this season across the board. Is this the bike or the riders- who knows but honda won't be happy and I wrecken they will be ready for war next season.

i would like to see :dougtoseland on a xerox ducati , bye bye fabricho . jt and haga force to be wreckin.

I reckon Bayliss was the best all time Champ of WSB and he couldn't crack the GP scene.

didn't see a response to this whilst skim reading but ............... I'll fly the Flag for Baylistic!!!!

Nads - did you not watch the fist MGP year that Bayliss road the Ducati matey? He stood on that podium more than once and then went to Valencia in 07?? (stand to be corrected) as a stand in for Gibernau and won by a country mile! He could have cracked MGP if they had kept the 990's and that **** Livio Suppo hadn't been calling the shots!

Bayliss is easily one of the greats and he will stand the test of time

Deacs :thumbup

PS: I think James would be cracking on the Yammy - not sure the RSV would suit him, he hangs it out and I think the RSV needs a real finess (even though I hate to admit it - Biaggi is the eperfect rider for the RSV he is ultr smooth).

Yeh agree with what you said, but dont reckon he would have dominated the sport, but he was at the end of his career so maybe in is day.

Aprilia wouldn't be able to afford Toseland, the spares bills from all the off's would kill them :)

Ducati still call on Bayliss now.......and look how a certain Nicky Hayden has been doing since Bayliss was invited to set the bike up.

James Toselands biggest hinderance......Roger Burnett. If he'd kept his toys in the pram and kept his own crew instead of the whole taking Edwards crew episode, who knows how things may have turned out differently this year. Certainly didn't work out badly for Mr Edwards with James' crew from the previous year.

Good luck to James. I sort of hope he gets the Pramac Ducati ride.

True, but then I don't think anyone will dominate whilst there's a certain VR46 in MGP (as he has anyways). Lol on the JT remark and prob not far off the truth. I would say that the crashes JT had at the beginning of the year have definitely contributed to his lack lustre results - even when you watch him you can see he's no where near the limit he was at last year (he said something luck "I was lucky to get away with the crash in Malaysia" during testing). You can't think like that as a racer it will always mess you up because you're always thinking geez that was lucky - he's a racer so by that very definition he is lucky (he wouldn't have been able to get to the point that he has if he wasn't) you just can't think about it.

Yeah for sure matey, Bayliss' experience has deffinitely benefitted NH.

I agree whole heartedly with you, the fiasco with the team swaps at the begining of the year certainly hasn't helped him (but niether have the big crashes). I think I say this a lot, Edwards was an arsehole the way he behaved over the incident publicly (I don't know how I would have reacted but I would hope that I didn't behave like a spoilt little ***** that daddy had just said no to), its a shame because I always rated Edwards before and supported him as a fan - hey ho thats racing though hey ;)

Totally agree with you mate on the Edwards bit against Toseland but then it just made HIM try that little bit harder this year and it has paid off dividends for Edwards who has quite literally stuck the V sign :ytiller up at J.T. over all tis shananigans.
Feel sorry for J.T. really like the guy and hoped he would have done slightly better as the year went on but still not good enough in my eyes to stay in moto gp.:dunno
I think WSB for a year or two would be his best bet rather than going to the Pramac Ducati squad in moto GP.:pirate
