been looking for a tinted double bubble but have struggled, bought a normal one in the end, do they make much difference, i know on my last bike it did, especially on the way to le mans last year and as we're going to the gp in germany in july thought it might help my old bones from the wind

I think double bubble screens are really good I had a tinted fabbri one on my last bike and would like one for my mille too!

just put one on mine and straight away thought it looked ***** as it stood up realy high. got used to it now and it does stop the wind:pirate
looks ok from the side

I put one on my 02 model but it looked a bit gay:thatsgay so I have got the standard one back on now. I didnt notice much difference in wind deflection but my son did on the back so I will probably keep the db one handy for the occasions the boy comes out with me.:eatcorn

Got an MRA fitted and do notice the difference when geting a bit of a move on +200Km, much easier to get down behind and save the buffering on the head. MRA is good quality and a perfect fit and you can get various colours.

:gay the normal one makes the bike look smaller :dunno as far as i know

Its just down to individual taste I guess like a lot of mods. IMO it looks better with the standard one but as I said before, gonna keep the db in the garage for when I take the boy on the back. Only a 2 minute job to switch 'em round:eatcorn

i got my millie with a fabria db already fitted so dont know how the old one was. can say that i have no buffering on the long fast straight bits (not thers many in mid wales tho!! i do think & agree it looks gay, but hey dont knock til you try!!:devious

depends on how high you sit on the bike,, at 6`2" I couldn`t ride without one on longer journeys, my mate who races for a living is 5`3" on tip toes and doesn`t need one.

For me,,, they rock

I had to fit a DB as without it I could not see the instrument cluster. Didn't like the look of it at first but it has grown on me......

I hit the 6' 2 mark and am still looking for a DB, what you got fitted J77??

I've ride with the original shield a little, then have fit a DB from MRA, tought it look a little wierd at first, now i've grown accustomed to it , still think the original look best. I'm 5 foot 7, it does deflect more wind from the upper torso witch is a blessing only if you ride at 140kph or more, at lower speed the wind does'nt support you and you end up with more weight on the wrists. So it's up to you. The quality of the MRA product is excellent, very well pack, virtually unbreakable, high marks!!!.:biggrin

Hi,

I'm 6'4 and the best mod I ever did on my mille was fitting a db screen. The original screen seemed to direct the wind blast straight at my helmet (ooer!):biggrin but with the db screen it seems to direct the wind blast over the top of my head.

I actually think my db screen looks better than the standard screen but thats my personal opinion and so probably doesn't count for much.

Got my from Demon Tweeks..:thumbup
