Thinking of buying tuono, pros n cons please

In fact the glaring translational error you made was regarding kissing. When ah say"daein" it means up the pipe,in the tradesmens etc. Otherwise first class me old pip.

Just come in from a 250mile ride out. No aching wrist or back & loved every minute of it. Only managed 134 but that was plenty fast enough.
Forgot to mention the Fireblades still in the shed been out on it once sine I got my Tunewo on April 1st. 2000 miles come up on the clocks today.

One translatory error was kissing- lucifer widnae be that pissed aff wi ye kissin his daughter. However if he caught wi it up the tradesmens he'd go ****** bananas. I was merely trying to adequatly convey this emotion. Hence "Daein"

I to have a ninja mines a streetfighter ZX9R and i dont ride it much now I have BigT
Gggggrunty ****** out of corners makes me smile every time i come out of a corner on the back wheel Luv it:wheelie:nana:devil

actually i knew what "doing" his daughter meant, but went for the comedic effect of translating into upper class twit, hence the equally deliberate refence to covering it in jelly.

don'tcha know.

Where's Smudger gone ?

Sorry lads been workin 12 hr shifts. You all seem well happy with your Tuono's even with the minor faults mentioned. Dont think the standard suspension will be much of an issue for me, i'm no slouch but i dont think i could out ride its max potential. Looks like a test ride is on the cards in the next couple of weeks, will let you know how i get on, cheers

I was in the same thoughts as yersel a few weeks ago. I've got a Blade (92) that I've been running a roon on lately. Got a Factory a few weeks ago here's what I've found:
Pros:
Looks, sound, riding position, different (unless you go on a ride wae ither T owners of course), brakes.

Cons:
Fuel and that's aboot it for me.

I did a 400 mile run a couple weeks ago and apart fae greeting in mi fuel tank at every 2nd garage in Jockland it was good.

A few weeks before that I did a 300+ run on the blade. Came off a litte more tired than the T run, but I think that might be the roads I was on.

A bit early for for me yet, but I think the T will be a great bike for me. But it can be hard work at lower speeds in that you need to be on top of the gears all the time.

That just makes you a better rider.

Definately lets you know when you're in the wrong gear. Old heads suggest 15 Front 42 Rear sprocket combination. On way up to Demon tweeks in a minute to get me some renthals.

Some things ah'v noticed in my short period o ownership,1- Cane the ******* an ye'll be on a shell forecourt plenty
2-Anythin ower 140 and ye'll feel like david haye is jabbin ye in the mooth
3-As above- a healthy sense that ye could come aff the back o it
4-Feds hear the AKA comin fae ****** miles awa
5-Grin factor supersedes all of the above
This list is by nae means exhaustive but ah'v no had it long. Oh an obdy tells ye it's a smart as **** lookin bike. Peachy.

+1 for Supersprox

Oh and go for 43.........15/43 is the new 15/42

As for the main question, the T is the best bike I've ever had by a long way. 3 years on if I had the money again there is nothing else I'd buy......but I would go for the Factory instead of the R.

The R front forks aren't that bad, but the rear shock is made of jelly. Even if you don't think you'll be that bothered now, guaranteed you'll be on Ebay looking for an Ohlins shock within 12 months.

I've fitted flatter bars which I prefer, and as long as you get an aftermarket screen and crouch down 100mph is fine.
