i keep reading people changing from map 1 to map 2 is this possible on a 2004 RSVR??
On all new style 2003.5 onwards RSVR and Factory, MAP1 is the ECU fueling and iginition MAP for the standard cans with catalytic convertors. When race cans are fitted, the ECU needs to be changed to MAP2 by an Aprilia dealer to get the full benefit of the new race cans. The Throttle bodies also need to be adjusted to reset the CO2 levels otherwise the bike will run poorly with stallling and slow running issues

As my mate Kawasakinnit replied earlier i have gone from an 05 CBR600rr to a 09 Vtwin RSVR,,,,,, and believe me u wont look back,,,,, grin factor 10/10 a real hoolgan machine ,,,,, just hope when i come to sell in a few years time theres still V twins around,,,, get race cans fitted and sound awesome
