Guys

My 2000 RSVR was stolen last night from in front of my place in West London (Shepherds Bush). I'm absolutely gutted as I have done so much on it since I bought it in April. I hadn't even done a track day yet.

I got up this morning, ready to pack it up as me and the mrs were riding out to Wiltshire tonight to visit some friends and enjoy a bit of a country blast when I went downstairs and noticed it was gone :angry

Anyway, it would be good if people could keep a look out. Its black and red (see profile picture) and pretty standard. I just had the front ohlins revalved, new dunlop qualifier RRs, rear seat subframe conversion and put a new solenoid in yesterday. Bastards!!

Thanks for keeping a lookout. I'll pay out £500 is anyone returns it in or helps me bring it in.

Cheers fellas
JT

I'll keep my eyes peeled in Croydon and Kent for you.

Don't worry about the £500 notes mate, seeing these thieving fookers behind bars would be enough for me!!

I had my 03 rsvr nicked in march, been scouring ebay and breakers daily but no sign?
I wasn't insured and hadn't even ridden it.
Bike thieves are f#cking scum in my book and would love 5mins with the twats with a pair of pliers and a rusty screwdriver.
Hope you have better luck than me and it turns up in one piece.

Same as me,only mine was a Kwack 636 B1H. As I was going to track it I never insured it as a priority. I never rode it either,it was still on the trailer when it was nicked.

Bought it on thursday, arranged the transport for tues,it got nicked on sun night.

THIEVING SCUM :rant:rant:rant:rant:rant

I got fed up looking on Ebay, the only good thing being I've got a complete set of custom painted original road bodywork complete with lights, and a pair of wheels complete with new Dunlop wets in the garage for sale to try and get some money back.

If anyone knows of someone requiring a set of kwack 636 B1H bodywork here's what it looks like on the bike.

Open to sensible offers, prefer to shift as a complete set.

I did opposite, it came in track trim and I'd just fitted mint road bodywork that came with it so i could MOT it for occasional ride outs ( was mainly to be used on track) if I hadn't of put road gear on it I could of at least got a bit of money back :rant

sorry mate.bad news i have been told that acid is good in there eyes keep it in mind if you ever find the scum .....

Found!

Hey guys! Thanks for your support. Those theiving dogs got found out and they recovered my bike. :exclamation It was stolen from shepherds bush and was found up in Haringey. I collected it from the police depot yesterday. so happy. I was gonna have a massive insurance fight on my hands im pretty sure. Bloody lucky I reckon. Speaking to the old bill they were pretty surprised myself. I am not sure but i could have been part of the larger bust that was in MCN this week in london as these dogs have been targeting west london and pretty much only 1000cc sports.

Damage was minor. Just the right hand mirror, some screen bolts missing and my cover gone. I can fix all that pretty easy. The only problem is that they broke the steering lock. It feels fine when riding but it is really diffuclt to turn the key. I have to be honest and say i really don't know how the steering lock works and how I would fix it. Anyone got any ideas? :dunno

Cheers
JT
