Just bought a light smoke Puig off ebay, after missing out by a fookin` quid last night on a dearer one.....

Although I was well cheesed off last night, I`ve put the toys back in the pram now, cos the one I`ve bought tonight was £7 cheaper.........not the earth, but better than a kick in the stones.........:bounce

I`ll stick up a pic of it once it`s on the bike........

.......and in view of the above, sorry blush), but no piccy yet.........but what I CAN tell you is that the Puig screen is the utter bollox, and I`m not joking !!

Fitted it on the T on Saturday morning (2 minute job, even for a tool-post like me :rolleyes), and I`ve not had the chance to play out again until this evening.

Fook me.........talk about chalk and cheese !! I`ve never ridden a naked bike since I sold my first ever bike (Honda H100 learner bike) nearly 20 years ago, so the T has been a bit of an eye-opener in showing me how the wind will try to rip your head off your shoulders at anything around 70 mph, but now with the Puig on board, that aint the case any more, as it really does make a big, big difference.

Just for the record, I`m a bit of a short aris at 5`9 tall, so if you`re any taller you may (or not) find a problem, but for me........I`m well pleased !! :thumbup

Edit: Just remembered; I think it was Rico that first recommended the Puig, so cheers Rico min, you`re a gent and a scholar !

Hey Nob, is that the Ermax flip screen you`ve got on that pic? Does it work well then?

I think it depends a lot on how tall you are.I'm 6ft 1,...fitted the Puig screen,..the same as Dexter,...and took it off after a short while.I found it directed the wind blast under my helmet,which made riding uncomfortable and noisy.Shorter riders probably wont get that problem.
The std screen puts most of the blast onto my chest.
Oh yeah,I also thought the screen was a bit fugly,so it had to go.

Doesn't flip mate. None of them are perfect, but that's the best for me and I've tried a few. The biggest help for me though was me new lid, a Shuberth S1, its no quieter or better made than any other but it really is stable at speed. Must be the way its shaped.

Cheers for the pics tricky, I`ve got a higher than standard screen on at the mo, don`t know what it is as it came with the bike, looks similar to the powerbronze one, doesn`t do a great deal tho`. Like the look of the Ermax one, looks like it could be quite good at wind protection. How good is it?
