The new European trend

I have just heard this from my wifes cousin who is a copper in Southern Poland so I believe it to be gospel.
The new trend out there is for people riding bikes is to tie wire around there necks and connected to their bikes so that if they come off then they will be de-capitated and not paralysed.:puke
He says there is a growing number of these cases across the whole of Poland (which he has attended) and even into Germany.
I know the roads in the majority of Poland to be very bad and potholed (after years of driving out there) so can understand the possibility of crashing is higher but not in Germany.
How sick is it though that when you get on your bike for a relaxing ride that you place that wire around your neck

We can use this if we adopt the method of placing the wire around the pillion who just happens to be a bike thief or labour politician . Me thinks the accident rate would dramatically rise ;-)

I think this is a lot of crap.... No such thing.... I live in Holland and never heard of german neighbours do such things....

Not saying everyone is doing it but it is becoming more common. More so in Poland but there have been cases in Germany
