After being catapulted out of the seat once too often, can anyone help with some front and rear suspension settings for a 2004 RSV (not factory). Fast road use and I weigh about 70kg... or point to a website that may have the info.

many thanks.......

This is very helpful

First you need to adjust the SAG, then play with the buttons. If you dont know what which button does, use search(that why its there) and youll find lots of info and also on youtube, tutorial how to set your suspension.

hopefully i will be able to help?

ive written a training course to help aprilia owners set up the chassis and suspension!

its a stand alone training course so you can work through it yourself or with a mate and set up your own suspension and understand the theory behind it all!! its all written simply with no big words or complicated phrasing so should be easy to follow!!

a few guys have tried the course and found it a help!!

send me your email addy and i'll forward it to you!

let me know how you get on with it!!!

Cheers
Griff

Griff,

Don't suppose there's any chance of you posting that in our file vault is there?

Failing that, can I have a copy please?

Would love to get my bike set up to suit me, getting there slowly but I still lack feel from the front end and the rear just feels harsh.

Cheers

Alan

Griff, if you scroll up - keep going, more, top of the page - see the red bit and the File Vault link on it? Alan's good with that kind of stuff.
May I have a copy as well please?

I received the tutorial from Griff and have to say it is fantastic. Get it!!!

Thanks again Griff

I'm one of those guys. Fantastic!I came away thinking, "why all the mystery". He just makes it seem to logical. :biggrin

Suspension is the best mod you can ever make. Anyone can adjust it once they know what needs adjusting.

The fact Griff does it for free should be applauded. :thumbup

Nice idea Ian but as it's part of what Griff does for a living (not to mention his copyright!), better to let him send them out himself. That way new people coming on to the forum will get to know about him.:thumbup
