Sunuva.... my Mille got squashed!

hi all, quick update, i did go insurance route, so the mille is with my local prilia dealer and im riding around on a..... kawasaki z750s. its soo gutless its untrue, and i always ending up holding the starter button for oodles longer than necessary becuase its that quite you cant tell the bikes started lol.

My tot up of damages to the bike: £1000 ish, the dealers: £1700 ish. hope they dont find anything else when they start replacing bits - its getting close to right off!

sorry to hear it man, same with me, i totalled my 04 factory on sunday thanks to a ****** wayward sheep, and as its open farm land the farmers in the clear, stay positive your alive

you gotta go with the insurance angle brother, she would totally feck you over if it were the other way around, feck teh insurance companies, how long have you paid insurance and never made a claim, now let them pay you back for all the years you have paid them.

plus, she should have been looking for objects when she moved the van.

damn cage drivers...

Been in that position a few years back with my ZX7-R, neighbour (known for about 6years) reversed into mine. Usual broken lever, cracked fairing etc...... He knocked on my door to admit and advise me of the accident. Was angry but pleased he'd admited it. He told me to get the price of repairing it to him and he'd sort it out. 1 week later i'd priced everything that needed repairing and passed him an itemised bill.Total cost £1312.88 (still have the bill here!!) to which he accused me of taking the piss and trying to rip him off!! and so wasn't prepared to pay!! He offered me £500!! After telling him to F*CK right off i phoned the police.............thankfully he still had paint from my bike on his car or i'd have got hee-haw!!! Lesson to be learned buddy!!!

another update - they are replacing the asthetics on monday (though still waiting for a left air scoop - which could be a while) and then they will test ride it to see if there are any further probs... now... the front brakes were very juddery before hand, and ive made a big song and dance about that curious 'rubbing' noise from the front when i helped load the car into the delaers van - do you think they might change the discs for me too ;)

well mate..it wasn't like that until that gypsy ran over it...now was it! :D
