ok went out yesterday for the first 60miles i couldnt stop laughing then....

Stopped for a coffee come back to the bike, key in hit the starter and nothing, clocks reset, big ****..checked the voltage on the dash and 12.4v so i hit the starter again bike fired up??? and has fired up fine since??

After that bike started with a missfire when rolling on the throttle not all the time though, roll on the throttle n nothing at all big bog down then smack all power back in again, made corners interesting!!

Fuel light was on?? not that it should make a difference

What you recon guys n gals...:eatcorn

Check your battery connections are tight. The clocks resetting is simply down to a low battery voltage. Do a search on battery

also check brown connector, i've had similar problems- starts fine cold (when taken off charger) then short run to fill her up and clock reset etc.

will check termanals n plug..any ideas on the missfire or will loose leads or brown connector cause that??

all checked n all fine??

guess i just till next time..

might even reply in english..i will 'wait' till next time

Oli, my bike splutters when I throw it around with the fuel light on.

I've resolved this now by stopping every 80 miles and filling up. I know I get at least 100 miles on a tank so in theory I'll never see my fuel light again.

was thinking the same, after filling it all seemed ok, then again i didnt wind it on much through town
