Sticky Out Mirror Thingys

Absolutely useless ..
I have to hunch up and look under my armpits to see behind ..
The glass won't swivel up any more and gives a cracking view of my forearms ...

Anyone overcome this with a mod ?

You can get spacers........................................or workout more to improve the look of your forearms ?

my 02 model is fine... even without spacers... & iv got arms like a orangatang !! :nana

you could try bending your elbows slightly toward the tank... should give you abit extra viewage !! :thumbup

my 06 has spacers on the mirrors - but will be taking them off as not much better and looks bloody ugly

I agree with Badger....had them on my 06 Black Lion and now on my shiny new 09 red Lion. Gary has done a top job with this sorted black anodised CNC aluminium spacer mod

Do the spacers also raise the view , cos as well as looking at my arms it also seems to look too far down , And I have the glass tilted up as far as it will go ..

I almost left the glass in the same position as it was before i put them on, i can still see my elbows a bit but only just, it only takes a slight movement of my arm to get a full view behind but usually i don't need to do that as i can see enough.

They do work well IMO and look almost as if they were meant to be there:thumbup

Best solution i have seen, Futura mirrors would fit but they are as ugly as sin
