The website for Aprilia is terrible I know. I will be happy to send you pic of the bikes on the floor on Jan. 2nd when I'm back at the shop. We are closed till then. Enjoy the holiday and I'll ping you with the pics then. David

so...i am back on track with my original dream...and the ducati-thing was just me sleeping around being unfaithful...i really, really, really want the RSV...(stinks about the blue '08 - according to "DAVE" at redline: 08 has the Black, Silver and special edition white and red only for US. I have all in stock on the floor. David
...
i will send you to pics that he sends me...and get your opinions...
thank you all for putting up with my roller coaster emotions...but my HEART is back...
peace and Merry Christmas

Sergi, you summed it up wonderfully there. I have to say that the RSV hasn't quite got the 'feel' of the Ducati experince but the costs seal the deal for me.

tks a lot dave, you're right when you say that feel is not as that of the Aprilia. The thing is that I got tired of paying this as if I was driving a Ferrari (this reasoning given to me several times by Ducati staff here in Barcelona :O "oh, my friend you're riding a two-wheeled Ferrari" )

Your riding a 2 wheeled ferrari :lol:lol:lol... yes that would have done it for me :mad1.Peace to you and your new purchase DOC , you know its going to make sense in the long run man :thumbup.

Oh Doc my good man stop worrying about it and just buy the RSV, it sounds as if your gonna buy a new one anyway which will have a 2 year waranty so no money problems there and at the end of the day its not a life long comittment if you dont like it get something else, If i am honest if i was doing a round the world trip and had a choice of jap or italian then i would have less worries about breaking down with the jap bike but i would certainly have more fun on the italian beast and lets face it if your ridding for pleasure then Fun is what its all about.....Go on you know you want too....:thumbup

Doc if you went on a ducati forum you would get people backing the ducati to the hilt , no matter what bike forum you look into we all think our bikes are great but we have only told you from our own eperience man.
No worries with the warranty if you buy a new one :thumbup
