hi all does the starter motor shoot out to touch the tart gear/flywheel???on these rsv 1000 r

No m8, it uses a sprag clutch. Search using the term "sprag" and you will surely find some pics that will give you a general idea of the Aprilia starter clutch.

k m8 cool all of a sudden my bike wouldnt start and sounded like the starter motor just spinning not the usual chech chech chech then it fire in..??? it didnt go chech chech chech also wot other sprag clutch can i use i swear i saw somewhere i could use a ducati 1 or a bmw 1 dont supose u know m8

Looks like your sprag isnt engaging whicfh would not be a good thing. Fortunately cheap alternatives (BMW) are offered here in this forum. I thinks the thread about this is in the for sale sections
