Speed detection system for bikes

On your 2000 model there may be enough space under the dash cover, otherwise you can attach it to the rear subframe under the side covers.

There isn't much room but you should be able to mount it OK with cable ties (supplied).

It is worth remembering that the processor unit is a 2 piece unit and it is advantageous to site it where you can get to it easily so you are able to remove it for it's (monthly?????) update.

Mine fitted under the rear seat unit, I had to relocate the alarm and PCIII which also live under there too, I'll photo it later this morning and post the piccies. I do own a 2004 model so it's a bit different, but not too much.

I also toyed with the idea of attaching it under the riders seat, but there was not the clearance with all the other ***** that's under there.

Of course if you ride with the single seat unit on most of the time, you can stick your tool kit in the cubby within the cowl, and site the inforad where the toolkit was.......Be creative..:pirate

My processor unit is fitted underneath the riders seat. I found it was a perfect fit so it didnt need securing in place and is easy to get to (2 allen bolts). Also leave the seat pod free for other junk :)

Update on these - they're brilliant! I went out yesterday through a series of SPECS cameras, (average speed) and it dispalyed red all the way through the area. I, naturally, tried upping the speed a bit and it started flashing. So, if I don't notice I'm in an average speed detection area it lets me know all the time I'm in it! Best 20 - odd quid I've spent on it.

Fitted the Inforad M/cycle.Works brill!!But,surf about on the web and I've found a version 3.5 of the software with all Europe!Any one else?Al

Further update. Mine went red approaching some traffic lights. It was flagging the camera which catches vehicles jumping red lights. Not just speed cameras then. Love this m/c
