***UPDATE***
Due to a bit of interest on the other channel I have changed the accommodation:
2 x triple rooms and 1 x twin room at Gleede Knowes Guest house
1 x double room at St Ronans hotel

so we now have accommodation for 10 peeps at Â£35 / night

Just a wee suggestion Mr b, don't bother wae the Dalmellington to Girvan-Newton Stewart bit I've got something special lurking through the Galloway forest.

Have a look at Dalmellington tae Straiton then down the Newton Stewart road tae Bargrennan it's a lot shorter but that's not the point.

This route in reverse was the route I was going to take to Ayr from Dumfries on wur Wee H.

I was gutted that conditions ment we route1 to Ayr and you guys missed it.

Sounds like I'm trying to guide you onto the roads I like,,,,,,,,,,,,I'm not.

I just know that the roads you take me on when I manage across the border are similar and I'd hate for you to miss these, especially when yer riding in ma back yard. :thumbup :yes
