Scrape on end can

I have contacted my local Akropovic dealer for replacement parts to repair my left hand can (was like this when I bought the bike), apparently they don't supply the bottom connection anymore, is that **** or what.

Anyone any ideas (you can still get the rivets and the rivet band)

I needed some parts for a yamaha fz8 akra and calsport at birmingham had them in stock, maybe try them.

Thanks Stumpy, i have tried them, no joy, there is a place in Louth but i cant remember their name.

last resort solution , remove can , de rivet cone , polish out as best you can , refit cone to can but rotated 180 degrees re rivet with stainless rivets .

just a thought , R and G do a carbon can protector thing , bit pricey but they would cover the damage and feed your carbon fetish !!!!:thumbup
