+1 for the sportsmarts.
Great tyre, mine is about shagged after 3000 miles. I'm fairly happy with that.

Pilot powers are good price at M&P's Swansea Stix.I would have gat a pair but my front was brand new at end of October & they didn't reccomend me mixing tyres so opted for the Dunlop.Othyerwise thats definately what I'd have gone for £160.00 a pair. Thats a good deal I think.Alsohad Pilot sports which is what I used to use never had any mis haps with them either & would also consider giving thema bash I do know that I've had higher mileage out of them than any of the Dunlops I've tried and never had problems with grip. Would also maybe suit you as you commute to & from work a bit. Doubt you're caning it then unless trying to vent your anger before lessons begin.

Right, here's the thing Mick, I've just had to put a new front tyre on the Mrs bike, they no longer make the tyre that's knackered,
so, we put the replacement tyre on that has succeeded it (as recommended by the tyre fitter) now this is a different compound and
construction than the old one was. So what difference does it make if it's a different brand?
I also know a chap who lives nearby and he runs Pirelli front and Dunlop rear as a matter of choice without any problems and he rides in the same zestfull way that you do. I run Pilot Power CT2's with a 180 on the back and will have to replace both next time around, with what I don't know yet.

Yes the pilot road 2's are more 'touring' but are still good enough for most, plus the mileage will be better.

They are what bay has aren't they - only he has the newer 3s I think.
