this is apicture of rsvr47 speedo recently done :devious who said rsv's are slow ?(chimps) this is with low gearing........:thumbup(not a dyno run either before anybody says and i'm sure he'll prove it to you)
what gearing is that on then mate?
definate 15 front and rear is standard:thumbup
Mine on 15/43 tops out at 167 and won't do a single mph more, so that speed on 15/40 is about right:thumbup
what gearing is that on then mate?
mine reads the same...... theres a decimal point after the 7 tho :biggrin:biggrin
Mine on 15/43 tops out at 16.7 and won't do a single mph more, so that speed on 15/40 is about right:thumbup
i'll ask him but i'm sure he is on 42 or 44 rear definatley not on a 40:thumbup
whats that 16.7 mph damn badger silver is slowing you down :devious:eatcorn
16/40 is standard on that model, 17/42 on the earlier ones
to be honest badger i'll have to ask him but i'm sure it is 42 or 44 thats why its frightening to have that gearing with that speed but its a new 07 engine fitted to a o6 bike he's blown an engine already.

TBH mate i would be very surprised if it pulled that top speed on 15/42 or 44, when the motor is peaked out the gearing stops it dead, my factory has a healthy 132 at the rear wheel and hits 167 every time on 15/43, so to get a higher top speed the gearing would need to be taller, interesting to see what it is though:biggrin
