RSVR toolkit on an `04

Okay, I`m trying to get hold of one of these, as there was none under the seat when I bought my used `04 plate recently.

There are some coming up on ebay last week or so, and they do show pics, but as they are used, none of the vendors seem to know if they are complete.

So, can anyone advise me if there are still the large C-spanners included in the kit, for doing the suspension rear-preload, and also if there is a spanner included for the large(ish) rear axle nut ?

Better still, if anyone has owned theirs from new, and knows that their toolkit is complete, if you could post up a quick pic of the kit for reference.

I`d be most grateful, and a pint would be forthcoming should we ever meet...:thumbup:biggrin

Neither in my 06 tool kit

I think there should be.....

Tool kit should comprise of:
3,4,5,6,mm allen keys
11-13 mm double open-end spanner
8-10mm double socket spanner
17mm open end spanner
16mm socket spanner for spark plug
Double-ended (cross-headed/hexagon) screwdriver

i think i have a spare kit.

Never had C spanners for suspension is any of my Aprilia kits though.
Wheel spanners were in pre 04 but not later bikes and they cut down the number of allen keys etc as well.

Chin up my Ducati kit has 1 allen key and 1 spark plug spanner.

If the kit`s as basic as it sounds, I may not bother then ! :dunno

I can`t believe they don`t supply a C-spanner for the suspension, the tight gits, and one of the previous owners of mine has already munched the corners off the rear axle nut coz he aint had the right size spanner to get the nut off.

Oh well.........:roll
