Including travel insurance, bike recovery insurance, ferries, petrol, food, hotels, toll fees, some where around £900.

Expensive? Yes, but soooooooo worth it. Once you have been you want to go back again and again.

Thats good to be fair. thought would be more. Reckons spoonz may have sold me on the pyranees...

Cool pics man. Get any action shots? I always regretted we didnt get more when we went to france! But we only had phones. And the only day we did do action pics was the day I had to get new tires in france. Got a dodgy batch of pirellis that were shockingly bad, runined the last days riding, but..
Still heres a couple of pics and a vid..
(the vid was on my original tires, the day before and can be viewed in 720p :devious )

Those pics at the very beginning of the thread....kinda looks familiar...is it the road from Sangette to Wissant?

Thats the road I started this thread about. Just pop over to france for even just the day. Rid that a few times with some refreshements and banter either end. Would be a good day I reckon!

Sounds fantastic, but the 'sarf coast & LeChunnel are nearly 300 miles away from me, if I was down your end of the country, I'd be there every weekend I could manage it...

I go down with a few of the 'eurohooners' of AF1, traditionally, it's the last proper rip of the season, just before the clocks go back. We go down to Honfleur for the night, (just south of LeHarve) have a good meal, loads of wine, shoot the ****, and come back the next day...the ride home for me is just under 600 miles...so it's a longish day. Well worth it though.
We used to all ride Tuono's, but these days there's a few of the softies riding.....dare I say it.....

GS's & Guzzies... :lol
