Im thinking the planning should start for the year ( it gets me through the winter )

I`m already planning at least one trip to the south of france for a week. And at least two trackdays in the uk with hopefully a 4days spainish track holiday next winter.

SO I thought Id start a thread on whos planning on doing what, maybe even group together on few RSV adventures where we all get to meet each other and take the piss out of each others chicken lines :jack

I was thinking that maybe a little RSVzone Mini Tour to the north of france?
I quite fancy a cruise down the "shall remain nameless" coast road from calais, I figure get a few of us, take some action photos, drink alot of french coffee, some french food, maybe even stay at some b&b/camp to have a few beers and cruise home again all in a weekend! :pirate
£40 ferry maybe 100quid fuel/food/beer? see some new faces have a laugh, make alot of noise!

Just thinking out loud
Would anyone be up for that? or maybe got other ideas??
If you dont plan it dont happen!

Heres a few pics of above unmentioned roads. Its not much compared to the south but in my kneedown starved state its almost pron :eatcorn

Excuse my ignorance, "pass out" ??

This road is literally just off the ferry.

Yeah cool I may be up for that. Gonna have a look at the route on google!

I have done the pyrenees for 7 years now and this year will go again. Can't praise it enough.
Riding down through France is so so. There are some great parts but getting between them is much blander than Spain unless you have time to weave your way cross country.

Have a mate with a house in Normandy which i go to when i can. Normandy is good fun especially the Suisse Normande region. Shall be there again in May

Really? I`v been to normandy but we couldnt find any good roads!
And everywhere in spain I`v been the roads are slippy as fook!
Obviously I`v been going to wrong parts :dunno

It only takes a day to get to the awesome roads in france, and they are awesome!
Make anything we go here look like pikey driveways!

Hey mak where are you based? the a686 looks like a crack, but dont like the way theres speed camera signs all down it!! :dowhat

I'm off to France again this year but this time on my 04 Factory (which I bought in August).
My 3 mates will all be on Hondas and are alreading giving me stick that my bike won't make it.
To be honest it's got me worried, as i've been doing France every year on my Busa or Fireblade.
We're doing the Normandy beaches again, as it's one of the gang's first France trips and he's an ex-Para.
Also, we're going via the channel tunnel this year, as we're fed up with feeling crap on the ferry.:puke
Have a good one guys wherever you go and stay safe:thumbup

Dont think i'll make it over to France this Year, but am looking forward to a few overnighters up the West Coast when the Weather improves :)

gotta look in the right places. Normandy has some fantastic roads around falaise but you need to get off the beaten track a little and away from the beach area. Suisse normande is a river valley and twisty fast roads. anything around the main towns is busy.

Never had a problem with spanish roads that i have ridden. In the Pyrenees all the tarmac above the snow line is shell grip generally and it's like sandpaper. Grips like hell but wears the tyres.

Look up the N260 and N230 on google maps. Superb roads

I filmed this in 06 in the pyrenees http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBcGV3kSdTs

I'm at Morecambe, our regular run is up through the lakes (kirkstone pass & up Ulswater lake) to Hateside cafe (dinner) & Alston (fuel), then Middleton in Teasdale, Kirby Stephen & back the Devil's bridge (brew), very very very rare to see any plod during the week, there's sometimes a Scooby sat after Hartside cafe at the weekend but loads of bikes around so you get plenty of warning.

Spoonz

Tried looking um them roads mate, but the N roads are main roads :dunno cant find where you mean...
Look up the D354 (I think) in south east of france :devious

Mak

You must spend a fortune on sliders living near that road. Havent had a chance to finish goodling the rest of the route (for the run) but like what I`m seeing so far!

Richardj

Yeah man so I see, I`m only down the road in worthing. And Nickfubar is just in handcross.
Only that road I know of at the mo in northern france, but maybe spoonz can hook us up with some other routes!
That road I`v posted pics of is the one the fast bikes boys cain down in the old mach3 video.

Just organising a trip for me and a mate going to Belgium in may to have a look at some of the WW1 sites

Type in Broto spain to google maps. Broto is a lovely little place smack in a fantastic part of the N260. The N260 meets the N230 futher along with the N230 heading South towards Benebarre. The N260 traverses much of the Pyrenees but never ridden it all.
