The TLZone and TLPlanet are good because they are about riding. This forum is that way too. It seems you always post about controversy, yet there seems to be no tantrum bashing that I can see. Maybe you could just lurk and enjoy the bikes. I have been around TL and Aprilia folks for quite a while and find both equally welcoming. Riding bikes is about riding bikes. I don't care if you ride an ape hanging Harley, you are still riding a bike. I respect and appreciate bike riders. I try really hard to get along with them all, but from time to time I run across a few that bear avoiding. They are the exception rather than the rule. Go ride at track days, you will find some great folks there, try it.
A TL will never be as good as an Aprilia, doesn't make either one bad or good. Just different. I have more fun blasting on my DR-Z70 and XR50R than I do dragging knees on the Gixxer at the track. Bang for the buck the mini-bikes are great. I also love to work on scooters of all types, and regularly work on my friends and their friends bikes. Rarely can I leave a chain un-lubed, or a wheel dirty and I have to set up suspension properly. I also change tires and chains and oil and such. I do it because I love it. The only things I love more than motorcycles are God, and my family. So I find ways to get along with "all God's Children"
At the end of the day, I am digging the whole bike scene and enjoying it with the friends I have made on line and in real life. Life is way too short to be upset with an internet forum, or other asshats on bikes.
Go drag a knee or fix a problem with your bike and you will be much happier.
