Stansted services about 40 mile from Brampton Hut Roundabout and thats about 15 mile from Thrapston Services, From Thrapston Services steve get on the A14 towards Huntingdon and Brampton Hut is the 1st Roundabout you get to, it joins onto the A1 mate, its the way we got onto the A1 when we went to Newark

Where is the meeting point exactly...I could well be up for it dependant on weather and location. Which is sunny for saturday not so for Sunday.

Can't make Saturday.....but might be able to make Sunday, weather permitting ( still got shagged back tyre).....absolutely gagging for a decent ride out, even dreamt about riding the wheels off my bike the other night,...how sad is that (woke up with a big grin though!!)...Come on Mr Sun do your job!

Good shout man.........We need to galvanise the troops, overcome the apathy, invigorate the flaccid, silence the nay sayers and generally put a rocket up the collective membership's arses! Not so worried about the lack of enthusiasm at this time of the year but I'm sure there'll be a modicum of concern if this continues into Spring/summer!!:dowhat

Came to work on the bike tonight and nearly got blown off the fookin motorway...very windy up this way

Forgot to say I went to Helmsley last weekend too...was gonna do the Helmsley Stokesley TT you guys were on about...but it was like a bloddy TT getting to Helmsley as it was!!!:doug:doug
So when I decided to go back home via the A1...big mistake..i was all over the place in the wind!!

Cant make it if its saturday..if it were a quick blast I Couldve but i have a few committments on Sat AM or PM dependant on others...so if i were to go to stanstead (6 hr round trip min) i wont be able to square a few things away...

Well thats me out I'm afraid :roll went to the doctors after work this morning and I've got a chest infection and slightly asthmatic anti-biotics and terbutalin inhailer for a week :angry
sorry fellas ...I couldn't manage what would be a 300-400 mile round trip in this state :roll so just going to stick to local meet i think.
Going to work on the bike the last couple of nights didn't help either It was below freezing this morning...had to scrape ice off the saddle made for an interesting ride home....

Would have loved to have joined in on my second rideout but i too have fallen to the bug of flu and off work sick for a few days :mad1:mad1:mad1. If its any help its going to be a nice day saturday fellas so enjoy yourselfs and i'll be missing it lots.
