Oreet men, can we get a seat thread going. Thats the most important thing I want sorting before the weather gets fit again. Don't want a gel pad etc, I want my seat re'padding and a bit of custom work doing.
Been looking for a while for a sound reccomendation for a better T seat. Can't find anything round Gunchester and most firms are miles away from me. Liked the Baglux idea but it was to complicated to order one. :dunno:dunno:dunno

Can I pay nothing for 12 months and then 4 yrs at 0% ???

Looks like I'll be of to Hyde in the week. Great suggestion from Sparky.

Can't be doin with Manc airport. As much as I hate to say it Liver[can't complete it] is miles better. In and out in a flash. Typical scouse.

Some nice stuff on their eh !
Lost your number inbetween fones, pm me it and I'll let you know when I'm going.

Guestimating it'll be about £110, based on 60 for a gel pad and 40+ for a cover. Gonna check em out in the week. Anythings an improvement on the standard seat. I want them both doin so its gonna be painfull. :eek

hey bud is something im going need to think about soon, let us no how ya get on:thumbup

Nobbie, dearest, go to a wheelchair kinda place and get some of the gel that they use for seats for para and quadraplaegics. Then to a marine chandler and get some material of choice, then get the old seatpan covered at a custom upholstery shop.

Or, get your fat *** out of the saddle and start moving around a little whilst riding.

Fat arse ,my fat arse. Gonna be doin a fair bit of touring this year Shv lad hence the seat prob. No probs at all with razzin on the T but anything over 40 minutes sat still is major grief for my deriere. Once it sets in no amount of 'buttock aerobics' stops it. Even getting off for a stretch and getting back on its still their. Developed a technique of putting me legs on the crash bungs which is ok for a bit but not ace. To make it worse me mate I go away with has a Sprint ST and fook me them seats are nice. On a long stretch he just gets off, I fall off and walk like John Wayne for half an hour. Bugger did 200+ miles without stopping last year. Imagine that on a T.:eek
