well gents my pipes have just completed dyno testing this morning

i must a say a big thanks to Griff for it was his own bike used for back to back testing ,std,single mod,dual mod collectors

basically both single and dual modded pipes give you approx 3 bhp at the top end over the standard pipe but its the red (dual mod) that gives the biggest kick in the pants.and right where you really want it 4750 to 6500 rpm .its a 10 bhp increase at most and you will definately be able to feel that in day to day riding

Griffs bike has a different can and hooked box i know that much..he has a pc3 on it but its not custom mapped to the modded pipe these figures are as is ..bolted on..so with a custom map there could be more power to come
 
Excellent results mate, how much is it to get the second pipe added to my 'single mod'?
 
Have another spare collector in the shed so might put the second link onto it this week , got to have a base run on a dyno with 2 different PCIII maps I have , first was 126 rwhp single blended fuel table , 2nd was a Dual fuel table map 132.6 rwhp still only with my single system with modifed collector & header pipe outlet I made & was running 46psi fuel pressure not the 48-50 I use when Drag racing the bike so very happy with my own tuning & development work over the last 4ys . Be good to get even more mid range not that the bike lacks power there but ya never can have enough .
 
Sensei, that's a very good power output, what mods have you done to the bike.

i've PM'd you Andy..offered everyone who originally bought the single pipe mod from me the chance to get it upgraded at cost
 
Gents,

i've just had the spec from Griff on his bike......

the dyno runs were done back to back with no adjustments made in between the changes of collector.

my bike spec is
hooked air box kit
akrapovic silencer
pc3 usb

fuellin was adjusted afterwards and more torque was found!

cos i'm a nice guy and the profit is the same if its a single pipe mod or dual so i've made my little bit already not here to rip anybody off
 
just found this info regarding a haga replica ..looks like the modded header delivers more or less this :)

Building on the already class-leading performance of the Mille R, the Haga Replica sees a 10 hp increase at 6.500 rpm, and a flatter power curve, over 9.000 rpm with the installation of the competition-grade Akrapovic Exhaust system. Torque is greatly increased with torque curves reaching optimal values 1700 rpm earlier than the standard motor.
 
You may have to trim your fairings for the twin pipe mod version. I had to . If anyone wants a photo just ask and Ill put one up.

But dont let this put you off. This is the best mod for this bike by far

throw a pic up Sabre ..do you mean the black bit of plastic that curves around the back of the outlet on the bellypan?

Hi Gents,

A lot requests for pics of the modded headers so heres a quickie...still £110 posted exchange....i post modded one ,you post your standard one back (keeps your bike off the road minimum amount of time) i do have 3 here ready to go (apemunky yours is safe and put to one side ) although that could go down to 2 if i get round to fitting one to my own my own bike...lol

will this mod help if i do not have the PCIII and no airbox mod? (yet) i am using just the 2nd factory map on the chip and have aprilia racing slip on exhaust only
