Hello guys
Sorry if it's a daft question but
when riding my tuono yesterday accelerating from stationary I got up to 7000-8000 in first gear and the red warning light started to flash. Is this normal ?? The bike is 2015 1100 750 miles on the clock
Thank You for any help.

It's OK. Your still withing the recommended 9500 rpm max up until the 900 mile break in period. That's what the Manual reads. I believe that you can also adjust the red warning light to turn on at different rpm.

i take it u mean the shift light .i believe when the bike leaves the factory the shift light is set to 7000 for running in..got to the menu and adjust it urself .i set mine to 11500 so stops me banging on the rev limiter..rev limiter kicks in at 12300..
cheers
