Thanks for that, there is one on eBay in America, £55 inc post but I don't know if I get stuck for import duty and vat as well, so this American is a last resort
 
If it's not a stupid question, have you checked the prices for a new one mightbe reasonable. (Might not as well but could be worth checking)
 
There is a new one on eBay £125, I thought if I can get one for half price, more money to spend on other bits, fowlers and Granbys want about the same

Ro-bleedin-tate! That makes Honda parts look reasonable. Surely that's not just for the lens but the whole assembly which I am assuming you don't need?
 
Yes whole assembly, lenses don't come separate, all or nothing I'm afraid.
 
Just emailed the guy in America and he can't say if it's genuine or not, also doesn't know if I'll have to pay extra, I'll leave that one, one will turn up somewhere:yes
 
how about this one on flea bay item no 281852718210 sez its for an ,08 rsvr , but im 100 % its the same part no .
 
Thanks for finding those much appreciated, the second one the cheaper one, have just bought a seat cowl off the same guy, small aprilia world isn't it, :thumbup
 
it is a small world, I bought an rsv seat cowl off him last week too, handy fella to know.
