I'd love to have more updates, but my bike's out of action at the moment...damn thing won't start, and I haven't had the time to diagnose the error.

I ended up giving it to a dealer, who had to liaise with Aprilia in Italy to determine the problem, which turned out to be a coroded wire. Glad that the Italians are keeping up with their well-earned reputation for dodgy electrics.

I got rid of the Aprilia to Robinsons Rochdale. Too many problems with it. Cost too much to keep making it right. Im on a Brutale 800 now since Sept 14. Fantastic bike.
