Racing engine idle

Morning all,

I replaced my old battery with the slightly larger Yuasa YTX-14.

Everything started back up fine, except the engine is now idling at 3k revs?

Is it possible removing the old battery has reset my PCIII, and that's doing it?

I can re-install my cutom map to check, but any other ideas?

Don't know if it applies to Aprilias but my Buell's throttle position sensor would need re-setting if the battery was disconnected. The idle speed would jump up by about 1500rpm until it was set.
May be a possibility? If not, I'll shut my face.

Put your old battery back on and if it's still at 3k your theory may be reet.
