Power (lack of) problem breakthrough?

The gearing on mine is actually what you guys recommend, certainly a 16tooth on the front, my mates is standard gearing so mine should be better. Well I have been given lots of new things to look at so on fri will get on the case! Thanks lads.

Well I cant see and screw on the throttle pulley. So thats one out the way.
The diagnostic wires that you connect I assume are the single green/blue wire, into the double green/white and er, damn forgot the other one, that are under the side panel on the right side of the riders seat? If so then nothing at all came up on the display apart from what would when you normally turn it on.
Will take the fuel tank off tomorrow to check for water and blocked breathers and also sort out my bent tank bracket at the same time (rubs on yoke when working on tank and holes difficult to line up). Also will get the exhaust system off and check for and restrictors in there. Gonna be a long day after work!

Hey Alan,
Just wondering, how did you discover the water in your tank, and how did it get there?? The breather pipes are clear, but how do I check the actual valve?
Cheers

When you connect the diagnostic wires you should not get your normal display on the right LCD. It should show you either a zero, -1 or +1, take a look at the filevault/manual for data on how to set this up.

I had to use the bike once for work and it was pissing down, I stopped for fuel and **** loads of water ran in to the tank as I popped the fuel cap. I decided to see what the issue was and found my breathers blocked so set about sorting them out. Drained off the fuel I had in the tank and let it settle in a can overnight, when I came back you could clearly see about an inch worth of water at the bottom of the can.

Tim's almost right though, I could have climbed in and had a walk round. :thumbup
