Power Commander Tuono / RSV different part number?

With the original RP58 you are just fine.
Aprilia racing eproms are fine to but cost quite a bit.
Even after fitting a PC it still will be a little rough around small throttle openings.

Factory pro is developed for US fuel and seems to be a ***** to setup.

If you are getting a personised map, make sure they do the cylinders separately.

If you want it to be smoother and have power down below you could consider one of mine.

I fiddl with ignition timming and fuel delevery.
I test extensively on dyno's and road.
I tested many Mille's and Tuono's

Next tuesday I have reserved a dyno for testing 57mm TB's with different velocity stacks.

Let's see what it brings.

By the way, the injector connector with the orange wire is for the front cylinder!!
The TB sensor wire is the one in the middle.

Hey Alain,

Is there much to be gained by playing with the ignition side of these engines ?, my old R1 gained 2-3 BHP at the top end by advancing the ignition 4 degrees.

Although the limiting factor with my twin plug small valve engine must be the head design itself ?

Yes there is to gain.

It makes the bike pickup easier and is a big influence how the bike feels.
You allready have one of my chips, so you have special ignition maps.

The limiting factor is you're head :biggrin
