The standard RSV I test rode before buying my Haga spun up insanley fast when blipped, Faster than mine does, Mine has standard box with K&N.
Maybe this is the reason....
Wolf - Thats a damn good Idea, but after holding lots of my previous bikes together with tape etc, I just dont think I could be happy knowing the was a blue peter airbox with tape under the tank Those days are behind me.. Reckon I`ll just have to save for the carbon jobby!

Yo, did the test today, 1st gear 30mph full throttle, and up it went, so tried 2nd and it sucked the world in.......went to the dualer, 120 5th opened up and by god did it suck eeven the cows in the field where pulled over. the noisefrom the airbox is awesome but the pipe is proper largin it........ love it

lol of course it would come up in first gear glad you found the sweetspot though it really does sound awesome
oh yeah forgot to mention steve you asked how it is gonna sound, lift the tank up and remove the airbox lid (be careful not to let anything near or drop down the velocity stacks/throttle bodies) put the tank back down and fire her up (it wont do damage unless you go and ride through a dust storm like that...) blip the throttle a bit and enjoy the eargasm seriously dont go for a ride without a sealed airbox though..
oh and while were on the topic of removing stuff to enjoy the sound, i tried running the bike with no airbox lid and no exhaust cans... HAHAHAHHAA it ran like utter ***** and probably burst my eardrums but it sounded pretty damn epic

Lol think I`ll wait until I have the actuall kit to put on. Cant be taking the bike apart for fun nowadays. Hate working on bikes nowadays to be honest lol. Used to enjoy it!

its great man, mine sounds like it aint got no pipe on LOL. my wheels just been dropped off for racetecs get em back at lunch tomorrow. I am going to try and do a video tomorrow or sunday of the bike running so you can hear it. tank up and down. i will shove it on you tube and pass you the link. cheers jonny
