PLEASE Help, RSVR Cutting ou

Can someone explain how a fracture in one of these tiny hoses will give rise to problems. Now, I may remember it incorrectly, but don't these hoses connect to the air filter housing? So a tear would mean that the hose just would suck unfiltered air from the surroundings? I am not being sarky - I would just like to understand...

2 reasons

1. The pipes feed the map sensor mounted on the air box housing not the air box itself and map sensor readings are used to determine idle speed. Leak = stalling

2. On a Gen2 both venturi are linked vac wise and cylinder balance is a combo of the vac in both cylinders. So variation in vac in one directly affects the other as well, meaning a leak will throw the cylinder balance out. = poor low speed running

Hi guys,
I am new to this group. I have a 07RSVR and every time I am riding along an pull the clutch in the revs drop really low and the bike cuts out. It is ok to start with but then after a couple of mins it starts happening. I only just nursed it back home from work and had to keep the revs up all the way. It doesn't sound quite right when coming off the power either.
I have bled the clutch and slave clutch cylinder and cant see that the wiring from the clutch lever is out at all.
Has anyone got any suggestions to what is wrong or what I need to do ?

Any help would be great.

Thanks
Rich

Hi guys new to the forum but had the same problem bike was slightly erratic at idle but would cut out when warm and would start again when cold. So after extensive electric connection checking turned out that the fuel pump was gone. This happened in my gsxr same problem same symptoms. I hoping that when people search online if they mirror my bikes symptoms then it's the fuel pump. Simple as that happens to loads of bikes ESP as they age old fuel water etc etc pump goes bad. Change it. I did and guess what problem gone. Any question hit me up

Mine is doing this too! Luckily mines under warranty and going back to the dealer to be fixed!
