nut manni, but a think the bit aboot no ****** aboot wi the fuels, a lot o pish,,,,,,if yer looking fir guid cans at a decent price, an no a bad range tae choose fae, hae a wee look at bewoulfs, ahve had them on mine fir a year an a bit and ahm well chuffed wi them,,,,

Look a bit expensive to me mate, and haven't heard any reports on them.
Plenty on Ebay.If you're not bothered about "name brands" I got a set of carbon can co's for £100 - as new, they sound lush

No,but check out mivv Suono carbon cans ,although cost about £800! Anyone tried them yet? must admit I'm tempted,Akro oval seem so out of date now .although they are so light n well built

I've got the other suono's. They look effin great and they come with 2 sets of baffles, so you have 3 options. I've got my 08 T on map 2 but if I run them without any baffles the engine cuts out when you shut the throttle. I think that they're ment to be used with a power commander, Mivv's site lets you download custom maps for the pc3. They run no probs with the less restricted baffle in. Check out Mivv's own site before you decide.

Aldo.

Mivv's look great - but yeah - a bit on the pricey side. Cant see the mrs giving me the nod for them - specially as the house is still half finished & the bike has barely turned a wheel in anger due to the crap weather. :)

been offered some cans from an 06 RSVR - in my gallery pics - will these fit my 08 (?)T.
ps - no offence to all those who have offered cans for sale - just weighing up my options
and still on the fence
Cheers

Hi all, what sort of price do used cans start at (not standard aprilia)? Also in the past on vtwins i have experienced really poor low rev fueling when i changed cans is this a poblem on the Tuono?
Thanks.

Take the restrictor collar out of the airbox and fit an open airbox/filter like an Evo. Or if you fit a Renegade type the whole airbox goes anyway. Fit any open/aftermarket cans, ie Akras, Arrows etc and go to a Aprilia dealer and get map2 done.
You don't have to have the open airbox but if you put cans on take the restrictor collar out get a high flo filter like a K&N.

I beleive all twin cans RSV and tuono will fit each other and all single cans RSV or tuono will fit each other

Simples

Rsv>03 and Tuono>06

RSV<04 and Tuono<07

Nob - I've got Mivv GP cans with map 2. What sort of difference will I notice if I remove the restricter collar and fit, say, a K&N filter?

Very slight power gain and a tad smoother. The best bit about an open air box is the induction roar. The Evo kit is about £170 and takes about an hour and a half to do. Well worth it.
BBBBBBBBBaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrppppppppppppppppp

I didn't know about the restrictor collar Nob. That will make quite a difference when taken out.:thumbup
Which air filter you using?

I've had Evo and now have the Renegade on. No difference in performance but the Rene is a bit louder.

Where you bin anyhoo Grin ???
