I was based in Pompey for 10 yrs, from 1974-84, and it was a rough old place then. I've not been down for a long time, but I understand it's been cleaned up, and is quite presentable now...................................................................allegedly.

Ollie m8 id be sortin that **** oot that seems like a rip off to me have you been to honest with the details if you know wot i mean lol

Im paying £98 a year TPFT (Devitt); i downgraded from fully comp due to the small amount of use she has these days :(

Express Insurance did it for me, £185 comp, all mods declared, total loss a few years back. Usual security bits on it. I also live in the back end of beyond which helps after lving in Birmingham for 7 years.....

Cheers! the bikeinsurer has come up with the goods, best is £118 fully comp, worse is £448 fully comp, which one should i go with?

always go cheap (im a scot tho)just keep yer eye on the exesses and wot you get like hire bike if yours is wrecked or leathers cover **** like that ,:thumbup

try the below, I found cheapest deals there.

I went with Dial Direct as they were close to the cheapest, but allowed me to protect my 10years no claims for not much more. I live in Brixton, central London which is a cracking night out but also crime central. Without no claims I was seriously in trouble getting a quote.

Suggest you go follow through onto the insurers website as they tend to ask extra questions which by coincidence lead to a higher price.

If you're thinking of any mods get that included in your quotes, as once you've signed it's all extra.

Laxtons insurance in Winsford,£95 TPFT riders policy,£205 fully comp, been with them for a good few years infact all my bikes since 1996,They asked me if it was RSV-R or a mille, told em it was the R but then he said it was the same anyway :exclamation, defo think the Datatool 3 is worth it,think it knocked about 20% off the premium and I sent them a picture of the ground anchor I had made in work, the guy was very impressed with its construction :pirate

P.S Gasboy,who's is the arse ????

Just got mine insured yesterday, and ended up going with Motorcycle Direct, for £293 fully comp, which for someone with no no-claims bonus isn`t too bad, although I`m an old git of 46.

The next one up was around £600, so I was well-pleased, as I expected it to be a lot more........:thumbup
