oil ?

heading to lakes at weekend checked oil and its not looking good!not getting anything in tube not had oil light on but noticed oil light aint coming on b4 i fire it up?cant get hold of 15/50 till mon will 10/40 b ok due a service when i get back anyway!how much do u reckon 1l or more!

Did you check the level after a run when the engine is hot :dunno it needs to be warm first and then show about 2/3rds up the tube for correct level, when bike is level, much more than that and it might blow some into your airbox.

bike was hot from half hour blast dont want to warm up again in case nothing in there in case warning light not ok!!!

Sounds like you need some in then, if your getting it serviced when you get back then i dont suppose mixing oils for a short period will damage the engine :dunno
