seems about right Shaun, mine comes on between 94 and 103 miles depending on the type of roads ridden, can't really complain about the weather tho as its still Feb but at least the roads are getting a good wash.I've been out today, it was dry when I left home but the heavens opened near leyburn, so i did what any bloke would do, I turned and headed for home. Still enjoyed myself tho, and found a road between leyburn and reeth that I'd never been along before. Done just over a hundred miles by the time i got home. And then the fuel light came back on....34mpg by my dodgy maths. Is this about average? The worst bit about wet weather riding is cleaning the bike afterwards.
Try to get out most free weekends mate
i totally agree shaun the only problem is when the weather is dry you just want to ride not spending time washing it :noHi Brooksy, not complaining about the weather, as you say it is Feb! I enjoyed myself more than I expected actually. Riding in the wet makes you ride a bit/lot smoother than normal. and the roads got a good wash yesterday as it pished it down where I was! Good fun tho!! Just the washing of the bike is the bit I don't like... Gonna do it today as it's not raining, typical!
doesnt have to be this weekend grin so any weekend for a meet is good for me mateLooking forward to getting out again, not too sure about this weekend tho'
I'll keep an eye on the thread and if the weather is ok & I can make it....

you are right, on one of there trips I will eventually meet someone like that.
just checked on my weather app and the forecast is: sunshine with some cloud and a high of 9 degrees C with 20% chance of precipitationI have just checked the BBC forecast (wed morning) & its not that good for saturday.
They usually predict crap weather & it normally gets better as the week end gets closer though.
