Hello to all.
Found some excellent information on the forum.I moved to an RSV in October last year & to be honest I should have done it years ago.I`ve always found I4`s hard work.I started with a crashed 91 CBR 600 (hence the name)which I rebuilt & rode for a year.Thought I`d move on to a larger capacity machine & bought an RF 900 then an MZ Mastiff ( don`t ask ! )then a Blade which I fightered & before the RSV, a GSXR 750 which was flat as a fart until 9000 rpm so I swapped it for the Mille.Wanted a Tuono really coz I can`t do with the crippling riding position,So I converted it to a Millono.Dropped front sprocket to 15 tooth(pin the throttle & up she goes in 2nd & 3rd.Wonderful!),done the charging mod & removed the brown connector.MPL slave cylinder & 40 jet fitted.37000 miles on the clock now so she`s no spring chicken but put`s a massive grin on my face every ride.
I`m now after the Hooked air box conversion.Do I have to order one from the "For sale section".I did PM him but got no response.
cheers
Pete

I`ll send some pics when I sus out how to do it !

G'day Pete, welcome to the zone mate..looking like you scored yourself a very nice APE there. Enjoy riding the V-Twin Ape & your time here on the zone. Many friendly & knowledgable members on this forum. Cheers, Aus

Welcome to the zone mate, you can get mirror extensions off ebay if you need them.

The extensions would have to be 6" long. All I can see are my forearms. It`s a shame coz I don`t want bar end mirrors.I`ll have to keep an eye out for a Tuono setup.

I have my mirrors pulled down as low as i can then pulled back so the bottom of the stalk is almost touching the mounting bolt closest to me and get a pretty good view.

Welcome to the forum mate!! :thumbup

Seeing those bars on your Millono reminds me of when I was young and what all the lads used to do to their racer bikes, fitting Cowhorn bars that had been taken from scrapped motorcycles. :doug
