Newbie -

I have now changed my mind and going for the Phantom Tuono apparantly its got all the bits on, I only have heard about one other bike in existance but thought I would ride in the shaddows of Pikeman as it seems to tick all the boxes.
........Not sure I want to wait 6 months for it though!!!
 
Gman u want to get a Gen 1 Tuono Racing. Its like the phantom, not many people have em and they plough Potato fields as well. Closely followed by people riding Matt Black Tuono's from Bristol following the same lines as yourself cos we all know Gen 1's are faster.
 
Yeah, bay has a Gen 1 racing. Unlikely you'd realise though as he rarely mentions the fact :lol
 
Well if I keep saying a Gen 1 people won't know. I like my bike ;)
I think I'm going to name it like Shovelheadwolf.
In fact I'm going to name it Potato
 
In fact Gilo I have an awesome name for your Matt Black Tuono. Why not call it "Cotton Wool Bud".
Cleaning all the nuts on it with a cotton wool bud. Ya Freak ;)
 
Lol mr potato head. Actually there's a few bits I can't reach with my arms falling off. Maybe u could give the bits a clean with your stash of cotton wool buds gilo
 
Not a problem mate, but I've got to be careful as the missus goes mental when she realises I'm nicking her cotton buds for bike cleaning duties...
 
Tempting, gonna be below zero Friday night though so worried about ice in the shade. Also really need to get out cycling as I need to get fit!
 
Went out on my GEN 1 today! First time in about 6 weeks. Really enjoyed it until my fingers went numb after about 40 mins.
 
STiX what kind of kit did you use? Leathers or textiles or a mix of. Jist curious mucker.
 
Textiles. Wasn't cold at all apart from my hands. I lost my inner gloves a while ago, with those as well I reckon I would have been fine. Wasn't going too quickly, just wanted to get out on it as I'm not a 'put the bike away for 4 months' sort of bloke.
 
There is only one problem I can see with that bike,........the baffles are still in!:eek
They need taking out,....its the law!:yes

Go for it gman.
