Ok - potential new owner here

Rode a Gen 1 in about 06 up a hillside in Switzerland and loved it ( other than the gold frame). I never really got around to owning one
Think about getting a Gen 2 as up right sports bike /occasional track tool ...
Would love a factory but can't warrant it as this will be the second bike ...
Cheers
Mr M

Welcome Moo, go on get yersel one. :thumbup

Yer know yer want to. :yes

GET THE FACTORY.

I didn't...and it's one of the bigger mistakes I've made buying bikes.....

Can't justify the additional money
and couldn't live with the frame ( i know it might be a love /hate thing )

Whap some carbon covers on it and you'll not see it. :yes

The rear sachs is pretty poor tbh.

When you look at the goodies you get with the factory...it's a no brainer...
Ohlins suspension...front and rear (£950 worth)
Forged alloy wheels....lighter than air itself (£1200 worth
Carbon fibre...more than you can shake a stick at, hugger, side covers, reservoir supports etc (£450 worth)
Full carbon factory bellypan (£600 worth)

The ONLY downside is that really ****** looking frame.....most factory owners don't even notice how bad it is after a while...:lol and you'll soon get used to it...:lol

Bought the best value version, including the blue and white colouring ....:thumbup
Ohlins / etc may come later ...

hello and welcome mr m , glad to hear you got the blue and white one --- they are the best lookers .:cool3

You did the right thing buying the blue / white bike.

Others on here that bought the rest of the "common" colours are really jealous.

I met up with approx 35 T`s last year & I was the only blue & white one there.

OT you have said this to at least 10 new members across both channels and they now own Blue and White Ts, no longer an exclusive club in my book mate whereas the limited edition Daytona is rarely seen lol

yeah, but none of those are as fast as the Black ones......... When they are actually running !!!!

:lol

Anyway, congrats on your purchase Mr M & start saving for all the mods that you will enjoy doing..

:)

See what I mean Mr M. Envy is such an unatractive emotion.

Thing is, Daytona`s are so rare because no one wanted one in the first place.:lol
