I'll give you 3 mars bars & a kit kat for it. Would throw in a pack of wine gums too but it's in the slowest colour.
On a serious note, welcome wjm, enjoy. Bike looks tidy enough & their are some bargains to be had, just got to look hard for them. Gave £3900 for my 08 plate, one owner, 4000 mile Gen2, not sure if that's good or bad but I was happy.
Like others say, don't let your heart rule your head. Ask lots of questions & look for any wear on the bike that may be hiding more than the low 7300 miles of use.

The only reason I said mine is still worth £3k (even though I thought it was worth less) is that there are hardly any for sale less than £3k!
Bike prices flatten massively though compared to cars. Hardly any bikes go below £1.5k regardless of age it seems like.

The cheapest Tuono 1000 for sale nationally on Autotrader is £2999. There is one cheaper @ £2595 - but its damaged. Just thought I would check to see if I was correct and it appears I am spot on. Makes a change

Yes mate, right place at the right time I guess. Was on fleabay over xmas at £4995 buy it now, didn't sell. Back on at £4495, again didn't sell. After a bit of banter & me finding out he wanted rid quickly made him an offer, got of the phone, jumped in the van went to pick it up on New Year's Eve. Got there, immaculate & he'd bought new from Taz so needless to say I was well chuffed :yes
Last year I dabbled buying & selling the odd motocross bike for fun. You'd be amazed at what some people describe as immaculate. If you come across the word mint, avoid like the plague, lol.
Obviously being off road bikes, if been used for their purpose they will have battle scars. Don't know how people seem to miss things like leaking fork seals, bald tyres, hanging chain & sprockets, rattling pistons, slipping clutches & so on though! Simply bought them, cleaned them up, general service, little tlc & outed them. If I was out of work I'd go back to doing full time as can make good money quickly. Obviously I didn't as the bikes were for my personal use & made no second income from them in anyway.

Now now boys, prices are always down over the winter, got a good deal on mine in early January and am happy with it,

I'm assuming that the general large hike in new bike prices has caused used prices to rise a bit? When I first had mine just over a year ago I'm pretty sure it was worth about £2500, and as my research proved earlier can't get one a year later for that anywhere.
I'd just like to say I've met Stix a few times now and in the flesh he's a peaceable non violent chappy over a shandy. On here he's a fecking tyrant so don't mess with him on the zone
Ps he's got puny little arms and doesn't do any weights at all so abuse him all you want cos he won't do anything if u ever meet up with him.
