I've had this image on my computer for at least 6 months and, as I recall, it is a non-company, computer generated image of what this bike is supposed to look like.
It's not bad.
Of course, for some, anything different is a threat. Frankly, I'll just wait and see, but I just finished 5 years with a V-4 and, though it will not have this horsepower, was not what I wanted next.
Like others above, I currently delight in a very slim V-twin with gobs of low end torque and with a good top-end. I am so-o-o pleased with my selection, save for the silly things Aprilia has overlooked compared to Honda. --But, no one as yet can build the total package with reliability of Honda.
I don't want a Honda right now . . .
I blast by traffic and accelerate with a light, narrow missile that shows no indication that it will bore me.
The new bike will be a feather for Aprilia and have its followers; maybe even me. But let others smooth out the first gen since I only have less than a year on this mount. And, the first gen Tuono has it's points that no other can duplicate as well. Like Chunky says, few he knows that own it would be itching for a switch. We are a thoughtful lot, us Tuono owners.
I'm still on my honeymoon!
